Accessibility Statement

Mind Matters is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually work to improve the experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. This site targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance.

Measures we take

  • Semantic HTML with proper heading hierarchy and landmark regions.
  • Keyboard navigation support across the entire site, including a skip-to-content link.
  • Visible focus indicators that meet 3:1 contrast against adjacent colors.
  • Descriptive alt text for meaningful images and ARIA labels for icon-only controls.
  • Color combinations that meet or exceed 4.5:1 contrast for body text and 3:1 for large text.
  • Touch targets sized for comfortable use on mobile devices.
  • Forms with associated labels and clear error messaging.

Known limitations

Some third-party embedded content (such as the Google Maps preview on our Contact page) is controlled by external providers and may not fully meet our accessibility standards. The same information is always available in text form on the same page.

Feedback & contact

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of the Mind Matters website. If you encounter an accessibility barrier or need information in an alternate format, please contact us through our Contact page and we will work to provide the information you need.
